This page displays the latest global-mean temperatures from three of the world’s leading climate monitoring centers. Data are updated monthly as each center compiles source observations into a global mean. The resulting data are converted by EarthSystemData into anomalies with respect to the pre-industrial period (e.g. 1870-1900) in order to monitor Earth’s proximity to UN-defined warming limits — for example the UN Paris Agreement of +1.5°C. Data are often one or two months behind real-time due to the volume of observations each center must assemble into a global-mean. This time lag will vary between centers. You may reproduce any portion of this page on condition you acknowledge the source data center and the additional analysis by EarthSystemData. Contact: info@earthsystemdata.com / craigjwallace
